Our plant-based patties are made up entirely of natural ingredients. They are a great source of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. The main ingredients used in each patty are as follows:

Mushroom: fresh white mushrooms, red kidney beans, walnuts, and oats.

Beetroot: beetroots, white beans, walnuts, oats.

Falafel: fava beans, chickpeas, and spices.

Meet Plants products are made up of natural ingredients that can positively impact your health.

Our patties are high in protein and when compared to beef they contain considerably fewer calories, on average 30% less.  The total fat is cut by more than 50%, and cholesterol and trans fat by 100%. Our patties are also rich in health-promoting fiber as compared to animal products that contain none

Harvard Health Publishing School research highlights that numerous studies over recent years have shown that red meat (such as beef, lamb, and pork), and processed meats (like bacon and deli meats) are toxic to our health and have been linked to heart diseases, diabetes, cancer and even death.

Plant-based diets are considered a more health-conscious approach. Consuming a diet that contains more vegetables, beans and legumes, nuts and seeds, and whole grains is well associated with a lower risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and death from any cause.

By shifting from animal to plant-based products, we can confront four important global issues: human health, climate change, constraints on natural resources, and animal suffering.

Animal Suffering

Most of the animals are raised on factory farms around the world. Eating more plant-based meals reduces the demand for meat and other animal products which significantly reduces the disturbing animal slaughtering and suffering that these animals are aware and frightened of.

Health Benefits

A plant-based diet can eliminate many unhealthy foods and replace them with delicious, nutrient-rich vegetables, whole grains, beans, and nuts that can improve energy and prevent diseases.

Environmental Advantages

Following a plant-based diet may be one of the easiest ways of reducing climate change. Billions of animals are raised each year for food; this contributes to climate change, pollutes the air and water, and uses enormous amounts of land, water, and other natural resources. Farming also causes large amounts of emissions of gases that are known to accelerate climate change that disrupts the weather, temperature, and ecosystem health.

Protein does not have to mean meat!

Meet Plants patties are made up of plant protein including kidney beans, white beans, fava beans, chickpeas, and pea protein. These ingredients are combined with oats, nuts, and other grains to make up complete protein profiles. Not only are these sources of protein versatile and delicious – they’re good for you, other animals, and the planet.

To elaborate, essential amino acids are required to make up complete proteins. They cannot be made by the body and they are mainly found in animal proteins.

That’s why Meet Plants patties are made with a combination of legumes and grains that ensure you are getting complete proteins without having to eat animal-based products!

It’s a win for your health, the planet, and animal welfare.
